Hats Made Me Exhibition at The Stockwood Discovery Centre Luton April – December 2023

We are delighted to have our White Rabbit Hat in this fabulous exhibition curated by Yona Lesger. This is one of the largest exhibitions of its kind, pulling together practical and purposeful headwear, with wonderful and whimsical costume from stage and screen. The exhibition explores why we wear hats, and how headwear is used to protect and transform, to say something, and to mean something. Artelium Christmas Market

We are really looking forward to being part of this beautifully curated one day Christmas market and have made some unique Christmas present ideas.
We have hand crafted sumptuous velour felts into contemporary winter hat styles, beautiful velvet hairbands with unique vintage embellishments and an array of colourful wool berets for stylishly keeping warm. We will also display some examples of bespoke custom work we carry out for hat wearing occasions!

There will be complimentary Artelium wine tastings and plenty of mulled wine as you browse the contemporary showcase of local craft and produce.

Artelium is a vineyard with hospitality at its heart, a space to enjoy wine and art against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sussex countryside.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Millinery Courses Are Back!

“What an idyllic day I spent with Sarah in her studio in Lewes. Surrounded and inspired by many examples of her fabulous work that she designs and makes for stage and screen.

Her expert tuition and access to everything needed helped me make the corsage for my Dior inspired ballgown.”

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella

We were delighted to make a large proportion of the hats and headdresses for this wonderful Westend production. It’s a romantic musical comedy written by Emerald Fennell with amazing set and costume designs by Gabriela Tylesova. Working through lockdown bought many challenges with delays and doing fittings over Zoom but it was a joy working with Gabriela who gave us a lot of scope with our own artistic flair bringing Gaby’s designs to life!
